«Hey, look at me, I look older than you, and that’s forever…»
Visiting parties and concerts, I observe. I see the representatives of the so-called Generation Z, which has replaced mine. United by the Internet and social media, they create a new sub-culture, in an updated interpretation of the phenomenon. Their access to any information is forming multicultural connections between them, and they feel more upfront, bolder. There are no more borders and frames of a certain style. The Lo-Fi noise of social networks fills every information gap. At the same time, the formation of a new generation is taking place in the post-Soviet space. The clash between these aspects, and the question of finding my place among these «new people», are my main interests in this project.
